OVERVIEW: Designed and produced custom social media assets to roll out through a grassroots social media campaign aimed at spurring local consumers and stakeholders to make their opinions known on a proposed excise tax on drinks with sugar or artificial sweeteners.

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS:
Quick turnaround of multiple designs kept the campaign fresh and utilizing the local scenery and animal imagery made engagement with the platform comfortable and encouraged sharing.
The majority of posts received hundreds of likes/shares and the comments showed people were indeed reaching out to their lawmakers. As a result, the 2¢ per oz beverage tax was avoided during the legislative session.
